Should vs. Reality

Things I should be doing:

Making a Christmas shopping list and purchasing gifts.

Decorating for Christmas/signing Christmas cards.

Getting cards together for all of the family December birthdays.

Cleaning the downstairs.

Reading other people’s blogs and leaving comments.

Doing the accounting.

Drinking less coffee.

********************************************************************

Reality
(or “what I’m doing instead of all the ’shoulds’.”)

Designing a new line of needle books.
And cutting enough fabric to make 28 of them.

(Incase you are wondering… that’s 84 pieces of wool felt just for the pages!)

Thinking that the oatmeal container I emptied this morning would make a cute place to keep zippers - just by covering it in decorative paper.

(Now where’s that glue gun?)

Deciding if I should try making these cookies this afternoon.

(Yes. Because my afternoons are just filled with free time!)

Going over to Bambino’s and getting some coffee! ; )

I’m wishing you success with all of your “shoulds” and your reality!

Jenn : )

Are those whoopie pies? Or just a filled cookie?

    Man, whoopie pies are good.

Yes, they are whoopie pies. From Martha Stewart! I haven’t made them before - so this is a new recipe for me : )

That’s what I did a while back with the same size oatmeal container. Now it’s on my sewing table. Perfect for scissors, pencils, even my giant ruler!

If you don’t wish to participate I will totally understand (you are probably over these by now – me, still excited to be tagged first time!). I am tagging you because your blog truly inspires me and I read it *almost* daily.

    Good time for reflection!

Yeah, there are things we all SHOULD be doing, but I figure, as long as you’re doing something, that should count too!
