Right On, Target!
“I tried walking into a Target, but I missed.”

Over the weekend Josh and I made a much needed trip to Target.
Unfortunately, they had had a huge sale the day before, so some parts of the store were pretty picked over. But we managed to do okay.
Their baskets were 40% off and I bought one.
I didn’t realize I’d be filling it up so quickly. I’m doing a little swap with my friend Katie, and while I was going through my fabric stash I decided to separate out all my 30’s reproduction fabrics. They just fit into the basket.
And here is another Target find – and my first fashion shot (ha!) for the blog:
this cute polo shirt that I found in the girls section.
(That dark object on the bed is Lucy… somehow there’s always a cat in my photos!)
The shirt is super soft and has a cute pink embroidered owl detail. I didn’t want to try it on at the store and I wasn’t sure if “the girls” were going to fit… but I’m delighted to report that a girl’s size XL is a winner – and only cost $9.99!
I’m off to the post office – hope to have a true crafty post soon!

LOL–love the quote Jenn!
If you insist–you can just go ahead and send me that whole basket of scrumptious feedsack fabric–ok? I’ll be out sitting by my mailbox until they arrive!
Cute polo shirt (girl’s section!–I don’t like you any more!) *wink*
It is a GOOD thing to have a cat in every pic you take!

There’s no way my 30’s repros would fit into a little basket like that.
And just sayin’, I’m a HUGE Mitch Hedburg fan….HUGE.

I am not sure if you are brave enough to venture into the evil Wal Mart, but right now they have the cutest pink owl sweatshirt hoodie in the junior section. The cutest. LOL

What a pretty basket of fabric! So organized and ready for inspiration.
I’ve shopped in the girl’s section before! I’m pretty short and sometimes it works. You scored a cute shirt.
